FUNDACION CARTIF

CARTIF is a horizontal, private and non-profit technology center. Its mission is to offer innovative solutions to companies to improve their processes, systems and products, improving their competitiveness and creating new business opportunities.

CARTIF develops R&D projects, directly funded by companies or public funds raised through competitive calls for national and international level. CARTIF also advises public authorities (municipalities and regional governments) in the planning and development of innovative projects with high economic returns. CARTIF manage CAPRI project acting as the coordinator.

RCPE

The Research Center for Pharmaceutical Engineering is a global leader in pharmaceutical engineering sciences. We help our partners to create and manufacture advanced medicines for patients around the world, through optimising products and processes. RCPE’s services encompass the entire value chain of pharmaceutical product development: continuous API synthesis, advanced formulations, next-generation manufacturing, and also device design and optimization. As a non-profit, private company owned by Graz University of Technology, University of Graz and JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH, we link outstanding science, application and industry in a business-oriented approach. RCPE is a K1 Competence Centre within the COMET programme, operated by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

POLITECNICO DI MILANO

The Politecnico di Milano is one of the best scientific-technological universities in the world according to the prestigious QS World University Rankings, classified 1st in Italy and 156th worldwide (Ranking 2018-2019). Since 1863, Politecnico di Milano has been active in several scientific and technical fields and will join through the Department of Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering (DIG). In particular, the research group of Manufacturing will be involved in this project with its specific competences in the fields of Manufacturing Strategy, ICT for Manufacturing, Social and Environmental Sustainability in Manufacturing, Product and Service Development, Manufacturing Systems Design, Production and Maintenance Management, Education in Manufacturing in which the group can be considered the leader among the Italian Universities and Research Centers.

For more than 50 years the BFI has been known as a research partner for the process industry with a special focus on steel production. As a non-profit research institute, the BFI deals with newly emerging issues of great relevance in areas such as energy efficiency, process optimization, measurement and instrumentation technology and Industry 4.0. As a private research institute, the BFI is internationally networked and very familiar with the relevant national and European funding programmes. The BFI provides the skills and expertise to build and lead efficient consortia and to tackle new research topics together with our partners in the process industry, whether in privately or publicly funded research programmes.

AIMEN TECHNOLOGY CENTER

AIMEN is a private Non-Profit association, located in the Northwest of Spain and constituted by about 90 companies, which supplies technological support to more than 400 companies dedicated to industrial activity related to metalworking, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding and oil&gas. It is highly specialized in materials and in advanced manufacturing technologies, especially joining technologies and laser technologies applied to materials processing, robotics and automation. AMS is a company specialised in applying advance manufacturing science, located in Poznan (Poland). Our team consists of highly-trained professionals from the pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical research with significant experience in big pharma. The team includes experienced formulators and scientists in analytical science and material characterisation. The clinical supply and manufacturing operations are conducted under a validated and approved quality system.
