CAPRI new workshops related to the exploitation of the project results

In CAPRI we consider it important to start working early on the analysis of the KER´s (Key Exploitable Results) and therefore in the last fortnight of December, the first Canvas Business Model Workshop was organised by MSI Grupo. It contained in 4 workshops, 3 related with each sector involved in CAPRI project (Steel, Pharma, Asphalt) and 1 for the Process Industry in general.

The aim was to trigger a discussion to identify with the CANVAS methodology the key drivers of the business model of each Key Exploitable Result (KER) of the project. This specific workshop provided a framework and a guideline on how the developed solutions can generate business by acquiring and serving its customers. It’s a visual overview of the main business elements on a single canvas. This makes it a lot easier to digest, as well as to assess existing business models or to map out new ideas.

To start our Business Canvas, we analysed each one of the 9 building blocks. In order to have a first idea of the Canvas, MSI sent a brief questionnaire of the main ideas to take into account and the tasks to carry out.

Then, after drawing a mock canvas onto a whiteboard, we proceeded in analysing and discussing in real time each one of the 9 building blocks. Due to covid restrictions, the workshop had to be online, so MURAL and Teams applications were used to stay all connected in real time.

Thanks to these workshops, background work has been done to provide preliminary market analysis for CAPRI solutions to enter the market. This analysis provides a brief overview of value proposition, potential customers and customer channels, key stakeholders required and financial analysis in terms of potential revenue streams and cost structures for the different KER´s.

Thanks to all the partners for your collaboration.

Let´s keep up the good work, also in 2022!
